Thanksgiving can be a hard time to be around family, especially for those in the trans community. The LGBTQ Center of Raleigh invites those looking for good community and good food to stop in for a Thanksgiving meal.
Thanksgiving is for everyone. Which is why the LGBT Center of Raleigh is putting on “TransGiving” Friday at 1 p.m.
The day after Thanksgiving community members of all ages are welcome to enjoy food, games, and a welcoming space for people of all gender identities.

Open since 2010, the LGBT Center of Raleigh aspires to live in a world “where LGBTQ+ people are thriving, equal, and valued members of society.”
Their calendar is full of programs like the Queer YA Book Club, LGBTQ Veterans Group, and Queer Artist Collective.
Visitors can also find resources on topics like Queer life, youth and family, health and wellness, and gender expansive communities.
