Video: Anti-Trump protesters in North Carolina reclaim the American flag

During recent protests of President Trump in North Carolina, demonstrators carried American flags, arguing that this symbol of equality and liberty had been co-opted by an oppressive and autocratic administration. Cardinal & Pine’s reporters were there.

Similar rallies nationwide have vowed to recover the flag’s symbolism, but on Saturday it was not just a side message, it was a pointed feature.
