September 3, 2025

Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette shared his taste for exotic foods recently, when he brought actual raccoon meat into the locker room. Now Bank of America is serving a sandwich inspired by him.

Thanks to Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette, you can now get a taste of some raccoon this season . . . well, sort of.

Bank of America Stadium—in collaboration with Legette and Levy Restaurants—has introduced “The Masked Bandit,” a special menu item for the team’s 2025 home games. The brand-new sandwich consists of slow-smoked brisket, Carolina coleslaw, melted cheddar cheese and BBQ sauce—all served on a “raccoon” bread roll.

Legette and Adam Bognovitz, Levy Executive Chef at Bank of America Stadium, cooked it up in a video released on Wednesday. Check it out:

The raccoon-themed sandwich is inspired by Legette’s . . . ummm . . . exotic appetite. The Mullins, S.C. native shared his extraordinary taste with teammates this past December, when he brought actual raccoon meat into the locker room.

Legette, the Panthers’ first-round pick from 2024, is now in his second NFL season. His first saw him reel in 49 receptions for 497 yards and four touchdowns.

2025, however, seems to be heating up for more numbers and more good eats—all courtesy of Carolina‘s favorite raccoon-eating wideout.
